Financing My Cancer Treatment
At International Cancer Specialists, we understand that private cancer treatment in Singapore can often be perceived as unaffordable. However, did you know that private cancer treatment may actually be within reach for many of us? Since 2008, we have been helping our patients successfully finance their treatment with us, whether are they self-payers or covered by insurance. We are proud to say that patients from all walks of life have been able to comfortably finance their treatments with us.
Upon your first visit to International Cancer Specialists, our nursing team will provide a detailed consultation to understand and assist you to make an informed choice on financing your treatment with us. Our experienced team has given thousands of patients peace of mind on their financial concerns regarding their treatment with us, and we are confident to be able to provide you the same as well.
At International Cancer Specialists, we understand that everyone has different healthcare coverage and that no two patient’s needs are alike. Thus, we go to great lengths in our financial counselling consultations to best understand your specific coverage, needs and requirements, in order to develop a customized cost estimate and financial roadmap just for you.
For the majority of cases, patients only have to pay for the first consultation of $194.40 (GST Inclusive), which is not claimable by insurance.
The Integrated Shield Plan (or IP), if upgraded to cover private hospitals, is a type of insurance available in Singapore that you can use to claim on outpatient cancer treatment with us.
Cancer-Focused Health Screening
Certain insurance plans cover health screening costs. Get in touch with us to find out more about your particular plan’s coverage.
Unfortunately, health screenings are not claimable using Medisave. The Integrated Shield Plan (or IP) generally does not cover health screenings as well.
Time is of the essence for our patients, and as such, we do our best to see you within one or two working days.
Our medical specialists regularly provide friendly second opinions to patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, including patients from restructured hospitals as well as private specialists.
