Celebrating Strength, Expression, and Healing

Singapore, 17 to 19 October 2025, the atrium of i12 Katong will transform into a vibrant gallery space as it hosts an inspiring art exhibition that celebrates creativity, resilience, and the spirit of hope in the face of cancer. The three-day event is free and open to the public, welcoming art enthusiasts, families, and the wider community.

Organised by International Cancer Specialists (ICS), the exhibition will feature heartfelt artworks created by patients under the guidance of Singaporean contemporary renowned art professor and therapist, Dr Leon K.L. Chew. Each piece reflects personal stories of strength, healing, and perseverance, providing a powerful platform for dialogue and awareness about the cancer journey.

ICS believes, “Art has the ability to heal, to inspire, and to bring communities together”. Through this exhibition, we want to honour the courage of patients and caregivers, and aim to inspire hope, celebrate resilience, and remind everyone that healing goes beyond medicine.

In conjunction with the exhibition, ICS will unveil its first-ever publication, featuring a collection of patient guides, support resources, essential health screening information, and an inside look into “The ICS Way” — the care philosophy and core values that shape ICS’s service to both patients and the wider community. The book serves as a testament that healing is not only physical — but also emotional, spiritual, and communal.

In a special charitable effort, proceeds from ICS patients’ paintings and 50% of the proceeds from Dr Leon K.L. Chew’s paintings will be donated to TOUCH Community Services, extending the spirit of healing beyond the exhibition walls.
