Mrs. Tan-Hoong Chu Eng

Affectionately known to her friends and colleagues as “C.E”, Mrs. Tan has brought her over 40 years of experience in the private healthcare sector to good use since co-founding International Cancer Specialists (ICS) in 2008.

Throughout her career, she was blessed with fifteen years of experience as a Registered Nurse in England and Singapore, as well as nearly three decades in leading business development, marketing, and physician relations for Asia’s largest private healthcare provider. This unique experience, together with her heart for patients and their loved ones, helped made ICS a place of competent and compassionate service for patients from Singapore and over 20 countries from around the world.

As Executive Chairwoman, Mrs. Tan employs her vast experience, insights, and understanding of the healthcare industry to provide guidance and support for ICS, ensuring that it is always on the right track to fulfill its vision of providing competent and compassionate service to all its patients.

A State Registered Nurse trained in the UK, Mrs. Tan received her MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull, and completed the Senior Executive Programme in Health Policy & Management from the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. She has a keen interest in the continuous education of nurses, and developed a first-of-its-kind Professional Diploma of Management in International Nursing, in collaboration with the International Professional Manager’s Association (UK).
